About the founder

With a passion for consulting businesses that can’t afford to hire a full-time HR professional, Oriana commits CPR toward helping to build thriving workplaces. An HR career spanning over 17 years, Oriana stands as a beacon of HR wisdom. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of CPR, she has seamlessly woven her knowledge and experience into a tapestry of transformative HR.

Oriana's professional voyage has been one of consistent excellence beginning as a Recruiter and progressing to HR Manager spanning various industries. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and a Master of Science degree in organizational leadership from Colorado State University. Her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth is exemplified by her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications.

Oriana's adeptness at maintaining a balance between positive employee and manager experiences while aligning them with overarching business objectives has become a hallmark of her approach. Oriana is a generalist but her specialties lie in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Her unique blend of empathy, strategic thinking, and meticulous execution have repeatedly proven their worth throughout her career.

When Oriana isn't immersed in the world of HR, she finds solace in spending time with her family, traveling and exploring new foods and flavors, listening to an engaging podcast, savoring a good book, painting landscapes, or trying out a new HIIT workout at the gym.
